I do not want to tell stories, I want to show them. Take a look and you will see my stories go beyond your average reporter. My stories have a lasting impact.
I'm currently a multimedia journalist for WYMT, WKYT, and WVLT. I work in Middlesboro, Kentucky as a bureau reporter. I love doing stories that can help people in Appalachia. I take pride in making sure folks know about programs offered in one of the country's poorest regions. I also try to raise awareness of the growing drug problem in coal country.
My biggest accomplishment is completing a 14-part series and hour special on autism that is known world-wide. I also helped jumpstart the only ombudsman service of its kind. By listening to comments from viewers, along with explaining our role, we can better journalism.
