Call it a new way to do journalism. We showed the process of the series by blogging, vlogging, and posting video and pictures from our shoots. This broke a barrier between the viewer and the journalist. The autism community feels they had a strong input in our coverage. By reaching out to the community, we improved our series, because they assisted in shaping the stories. We encouraged discussion within the community. The blog has received thousands of hits from all around the world.
